WINDECK CASTLE
ENBW HOLIDAY AND SEMINAR HOUSE

Reichenau Island, Germany

First built in the 14th century, Windeck Castle, called Bürgle, was the outsourced guest residence of the Peter and Paul Monastery. Today, the historically valuable house is a listed building and is used by EnBW as a holiday and seminar hotel.

The uniform design concept develops from the attitude of being a guest and combines it with the prevailing sacral simplicity.

This guiding principle is also reflected in the implementation of the far-reaching fire protection measures.
Use of the highest technical standards, but always to a visually compatible degree, in terms of comprehensibility, readability of the sequence of rooms or the various fixtures from the different centuries.
