SPACES FOR FUTURE ORIENTED AND SUSTAINABLE LEARNING IN A DIGITALISED WORLD
A key feature of the ISE LAB’s spatial concept is the structuring of an almost 100-year-old sequence of school rooms into contemporary learning settings.
Similar to an open learning landscape, seven learning places and experience rooms are defined for digital media education, in which individual working focus can be set. Learning spaces are determined by the learning goals and address the individual abilities and learning types of the students.
The learning requirements are directly derived from work organisation processes already known from the context of „New Work“.
All digital media that can be procured from the funds of the Digitalpakt are available here.
The ISE LAB thus combines all relevant characteristics of a future-oriented, pedagogical interior architecture:
„Protected learning and differentiation rooms with flexibly combinable furniture and visual connections, grouped around a common marketplace with various functional areas; attractively designed subject rooms with a stimulating character; quiet workplaces as well as central meeting places; spaces for movement and retreat; short walking distances and clearly designed zones, well thought-out cloakroom, learning materials and storage concepts for diverse user groups“ – this is how school can become a sustainable place for learning, working and living.
