VICTORIA HOUSE
ENTRANCE AREA

Germany

Entrance facades are places of communication. Here the interface is defined by the public image of a company and the corporate culture realised inside.

The office building, built in the 80s, is perfectly located in the city centre of Stuttgart, but the entrance area no longer met the company’s desire for representation.

In addition to functional aspects, such as the integration of ventilation and security aspects/vandalism, the transition from the bustling city centre had to be redefined. The night-time effect, near bars and restaurants, also played a major role here.

A glass construction with single point fixings was placed in front of the existing travertine facade. Grey glass was used specifically according to reflection and transmission degrees.
