TETIAROA THE BRANDO
VARUA POLYNESIAN SPA
The travel descriptions of sailors inspired many artists, like Marlon Brando, to see the rediscovered paradise in Tetiaroa, his island. Today’s tourist now comes to this place to search for their own idea of the Garden of Eden.
The preservation of „untouched“ nature played a major role in the design of the SPA. Materials such as coconut palms, driftwood and the wood of the endemic iron tree come from the island and were used for the tree houses in which the treatment rooms and changing rooms are now located. The height of the tree houses allows immediate proximity to the rare birds and the unique nature.
